Human Capital Pricing: Theory and Evidence - An Analvsis Based on CHNS in 2006
This paper investigates the factors on the human capital pricing with cross-section data of China Nutrition and Health Survey (CHNS) in 2006. The results show that the contents of human capital and the environment factors of human capital have some effects on the price of human capital, and the formal schooling increases additional year, the human capital price will increase by 4.3%; working experiences have been no significant effect on the human capital price; the regional differences among urban and rural, and developed areas and underdeveloped areas, occupation level, work status, working units type, and gender are the important factors of human capital pricing.
