The Empirical Research on Factors of Employee Turnover in SMEs in Yangtze River Delta

Because of the bad effect of high rate turnover on a company, this paper took on an empirical research on the main factors of employee turnover in SMEs(Small and Medium Enterprises) in Yangtze River Delta(YRD). In this paper, 1780 questionnaire were sent out with 1685 copies valid withdrawn. The methods used in this paper are correlation analysis, component analysis and variance analysis, in analyzing the data of questionnaire. It showed that the work related facet, the chance of reworking outside, employees working experience and the education affect turnover significantly, meanwhile, the companys regulation and the relationship also had some influence on employee turnover. Based on the results, some managerial implications are put forward in the end.
