Surrounding Rock Deformation Mechanism and Bolts Supporting of the Cracked Roadways

The surrounding rock of the cracked roadways which is very weak, usually can not be self-stable, and its stability is affected by many factors. So, the supporting of this type roadway is very difficult. The surrounding rock deformation mechanism of the cracked roadways was analyzed in detail under the conditions of the 3 factors which were stress, geology and time in this paper. Based on the mechanism, the supporting mechanism of improving stress state and supplying timely, initiative and effective supporting were proposed, and then, the quaternary supporting system of roof-floor-sides-support unit was built. Self-supporting properties of surrounding rock can be improved better by these ways. In addition, bolt supporting mechanism of the cracked roadways was deeply analyzed. The roadway can be stable by combined supporting. In site experiment, the floor heave value and sides deformation were reduced 72% and 55% separately.
