An HLA Based Design of Collision Simulation System for Large-scale LEO Objects
Researchers pay more attention to the LEO (low earth orbital) collision simulation aRer the collision of US Russia satellites this year.In the LEO collision simulation, the positions and the attitudes of LEO satellites and the positions of space debris are simulated, and then the times and the orbital positions of possible collisions are calculated.Since there are large-scale LEO objects, it is difficult to support the orbit computation load by one personal computer. The distributed computing technology is needed. An HLA (high level architecture)simulation system structure is designed,in which computations are distributed over and data are interacted among more than ten desktop computers to implement the search for LEO collisions.
