Development of Auto-Modeling Program Based on ADAMS Marcos for Aircraft Landing gear Dynamic Loads Simulaiton Analysis

This paper discusses the development of an auto modeling program tool for automatically generating full aircraft models used in the simulation analysis of landing gears dynamic loads.Section 2 of the full paper introduces the MSC.ADAMS and the ADAMS macros which is the tools for developing the program.Section 3 describes the composition of a full aircraft model and the modularization of the aircraft.By modularizing a full aircraft into three modules,the assembling of aircraft model can be simplified and easy to be implemented for computer program.Section 4 illustrates the design philosophy of this program and the development of the user interface which consists of four sub-interfaces;fig. 3 shows one of these sub-interfaces. In order to demonstrate the usefulness of the program, section 5 gives a case study and the conclusions shows that,this program can shield users from the complex and time-consuming model creation process and will facilitate the increased use of mechanical dynamic simulation technique in industry.
