Simulation of Forest Fire Extinguishing Based on Complex Adaptive System Theory
Forest fires spread freely in the open system, restricted by weather, combustible materials, terrain and many other factors, the combustion process with strong uncertainty and unpredictability is complex and volatile. Complex adaptive systems theory provides a method to realize modeling and simulation of forest fire. In this paper, based on the current development of forest fire extinguishing simulation, we analysis the complexity that forest fire extinguishing is affected by all kinds of environment factors, divide the whole forest fire into two kind of agents, Fire agent and Extinguisher agent. With the Multi-agent technology, we analyze the behavior and attributes of the two kinds of agent; design the simulation model by the interaction between similar and different types of agent; realize the forest fire extinguishing simulation using simulation tool -AnyLogie.
