GIS technology supported spatial analysis and division of urban ecological environment
Urban ecological environment is indispensable to urban construction and development, urban ecological environmental analysis is logically one of the main issues of urban ecology aiming at providing basis for urban region planning and ecological management. In this paper, we collect ten ecological environment indices in the categories of society-economy, resource, and environment in urban ecosystem, which are consisted of per capital GDP, rate of urban land, population density, coverage rate of forestland, coverage rate of agriculture land, spatial distribution of water resource, spatial distribution of mineral resource, water pollution index, air pollution index, discharged volume of solid waste per capita and geological disaster density. Spatial feature of urban ecological environment index is analyzed using GIS technology. From the spatial analysis results of indices, integrated division of urban ecological environment is carried out in Chongqing. As a result, it is of great significance to promote the stability and safety of regional ecological environment, and further propose scientific evidence to decision-making planners and administrators.
