A Study on the Fire Safety Awareness and Safety Education of Childcare Institutions
The rate of dual-income families has been increasing in numbers, as a result of economic growth and more women in work who want to gratify their ego. This has brought a limitation on familys own function in terms of parenting to our society, but at the same time, the enthusiasm for educating infants among parents has highly soar. In consequence, the number of childcare institutions has been steeply increased. There have been, however, small and bigger accidents inevitably broken as there are more childcare institutions in the society. Among the causes of the accidents which vary in size and types and whose damages greatly differ from each other, the fire has been the main factor to the accidents. In particular, the most victims from the accidents are infants before 6 who are physically and mentally unripe because of their lack of recognition on the fire and awareness on the effect of it. It contains the biggest possibility to make the accidents even worse. Therefore, it has required more responsibilities for childcare institutions to conduct safety for infants immediately after fire breaks out. Thus, this research suggests some basic information to improve the overall awareness on the effect of fire safety consciousness and education for childcare teachers.
