Explained the necessity of water forecast, analyze and study the actual conditions of Changchun and choice forecast technique, elaborate the basic principle of forecast method by the new generation of old and the computational process. According to water consumptions statistical data of Changchun in past 12 years, forecasting the urban water demand of Changchun in 2010, 2015 and 2020. And combining the supply capacity of waterworks in Changchun analysis to obtain: Dont need to establish the new Waterworks in the short-term
