Characteristics on energy saving and environmental protection in the direct urban sewage source heat pump system

There are two forms when heat pump system using the urban sewage as cooling and heating sources in the buildings, which are the direct and the indirect systems. The key technologies on online descaling methods in the direct system are introduced and discussed. With the boiler heating system and the air cooled chiller system as the comparisons, the direct system is analyzed on energy efficiency and environmental protection. The results show that the primary energy ratio of the direct system is bigger about 0.1~0.2, annual energy conservation is approximately bigger 7% and amount of pollutants to be reduced is approximately higher about 8% than those of the indirect system.
