Study on low carbon energy system using garbage incineration heat
The first promise period of the Kyoto Protocol begins, and the reduction of the CO2 discharge becomes the urgent problem. While effective use method of the unused energy is argued, effective use of the garbage incineration heat is expected. Because the garbage incineration heat exhaust from the garbage incineration plant which dotted in a city includes mass energy. The garbage incineration heat has been used in neighboring institutions or to generate electricity. But the generator of the garbage incineration plant is not efficient than that of power company. We can utilize energy of the garbage incineration heat efficiently if we can supply it to the area of the high heat demand like the urban region. In this study, we examine the reduction effect of the CO2 discharge when garbage incineration heat was supplied from comparatively near garbage incineration plants to Kasumigaseki and Daimaruyu Areas of the Tokyo inner city.
