Design Method of Residential Climate Buffer Spaces

摘要：

Climate buffer space design as a means of passive solar system is the integrated design of building form and materials as a total system to achieve optimum comfort and energy savings. In hot summer and cold winter zone of China, multi-storey residential building closed balconies, pitched roof spaces can be regarded as climate buffer spaces based on passive solar ventilation and heating. The paper puts forward two kind climate buffer space systems: serial residential space buffer system and parallel residential space buffer system.
