An Efficient Anaerobic Technology for Urban Sewage Treatment
In this study, an efficient technology for urban sewage treatment by multistage two-phase anaerobic baffled reactor is put forward. Through scientific structure design of the reactor, internal phase separation of the system is realized and mass transfer condition between microorganism and substrate in the reactor is improved. Sound hydraulic condition and biochemical reaction condition in the system are achieved, and the high efficiency of organic pollutant removal is realized therefore. It is indicated by the experimental results that the removal rate of COD is 66.5% respectively when the water temperature is 19℃ and hydraulic retention time is 10h. It is shown by the study that this reactor not only is of sound treatment effect but could run steadily in the treatment of urban sewage.
