Pilot Project to Install a System to Promote Energy Savings in Residential Buildings That Use District Heating in the Northeast Region of China (Shenyang) Part2
This paper demonstrates an energy saving research project at university family apartment in Shenyang., which heating energy is supplied by ground source heat pump system. Measurements of energy consumptions, room temperatures of each apartment house, daily activities and energy saving consciousness survey of habitants have been carried out between November 2008 and January 2009, and the district heating system with energy distribution system has been evaluated Energy consumption for district heating is predicted to be saved up to 20％ by individual accounting and metering system in each apartment house. System COP of district heating plant which is evaluation with primary energy was less than 0.5.
