Study on Recycling and Reusing of Filter Backwash Wastewater

摘要：

The batch tests were carried out to treat filter backwash wastewater, which directly add to raw water based on different ratio. As a result, filter backwash wastewater can enhance the removal of turbidity and color from raw water, but has no positive effect on organic matter. At the same time, 10％ of filter backwash wastewater can decrease some dosage and improve coagulation efficiency. It is noticed that filter backwash wastewater increase total bacteria after filter, which result in more strict disinfection.
