Study on the Effect of Particle Gradation for Brown Coal CWS
In order to study on the effect of particle gradation for the coal of hard to produce coal water slurry (CWS),the aim of this study was to understand the effect of coal particle size distributions on rheology behavior of brown coal CWS. Experiments have been carried out on the two different coal samples in rank coal samples including brown coal from BaoRi and bituminous coal from ChangCun in these experiments. Packing efficiency was measured by the Euro-Ameriean gram LS-C(1) type laser particle analytical instrument. Results shown that concentration of CWS increases 4.8% with packing efficiency of increasing 7.18%.The paper proves that improving packing significantly can change rheological behavior of lignite-water slurry and improve concentration of lignite-water slurry effectively by researching the effect of packing efficiency on slurry concentration, viscosity, rheological behavior and stability of lignite-water slurry.
