Demonstration of an 8×10Gbit/s OTDM 100km Transmission System

摘要：

In this paper, we demonstrate an 8×10Gb/s OTDM 100-km transmission system, a cascaded electro-absorption modulators (EAMs) ring oscillator (CERO) unite with ultra-short gating window (<6ps) which is stable, easy to synchronization and potential application in 160Gb/s system is utilized to realize direct 80Gbit/s to 10Gb/s demultiplexing. Error free 8×10Gbit/s OTDM 100-km transmission and subsequent demultiplexing are successfully demonstrated.
