The Controlling of Slow Light Based on SBS
Tunable slow-light delay in optical fiber has many advantages such as good practicability, low costs and wide tuning range, etc. It is greatly applicable in telecommunication system, signal process, microwave radar, electronic countermeasure, optical memory, optical cache and optical router. And its one of the key techniques to achieve the AON (All Optical Network). This paper gives introduction of slow light, and especially, slow light via SBS is presented. Finally, simulation of SBS slow light is described, with the pulse delay under different SBS Gain parameters calculated.
