THE EFFECT ON FORMATION OF POLYCHOLRINATED BENZENES,POLYCHOLRINATED PHENOLS AND PAHS DURING PVC COMBUSTION AT VARIABLE PLASTICIZER CONTENT
It was investigated that the effect of a plasticizer content in PVC materials and researched the relationship of PCBz, PCPh and PAHs from PVC combustion at variable DOP content using laboratory scale tubular furnace. As the plasticizer content in PVC material is increased, the emission of the organic chlorinated compounds such as PCPh and PCBz is decreased in some extent, but PAHs concentration increased. There was found significant relationship between PCPh and PCBz. However, no relationship was shown between PAHs and other organic chlorinated compounds. The formation of PAHs is more related with the plasticizer amount than the PVC quantity.
