THE DIOXIN INVENTORY OFWASTEWATER DISCHARGES IN TAIWAN

摘要：

This study examined 12 special industries in Taiwan that may discharge dioxin in their wastewater and established the dioxin inventory based on domestic emission factors. The estimated annual dioxin discharge in wastewater amounted to 0.447 g I-TEQ in 2006. The main sources include the public sewage treatment system, the industrial sewage treatment system, and the pulp manufacture, with an annual discharge amount of 0.20148 g I-TEQ, 0.14755 g I-TEQ, and 0.0569 g I-TEQ, respectively.
