Detection of Benzoapyrene-DNA Adducts for Human Biomonitoring by Capillary Electrophoresis-Laser Induced Fluorescence
DNA adducts plays a critical role in carcinogenic process. However it is a great challenge to specifically and sensitively detect the trace of DNA adducts occurred in vivo. Here we present a highly sensitive capillary electrophoresis-laser induced fluorescence (CE-LIF) method for detection of the trace levels of benzoapyrene diol epoxide (BPDE)-DNA adducts, which has directly link with lung cancer. The developed CE-LIF immunoassay for BPDE-DNA adducts was applied for human biomonitoring by analyzing human leukocyte DNA.
