FLUORESCENCE STUDY ON THE INTERACTIONS OF HYDROXYLATED POLYBROMINATED DIPHENYL ETHERS WITH THYROID HORMONE TRANSPORT PROTEINS IN VITRO
The study on interaction between hydroxylated PBDEs and transporter proteins is very important to evaluate the toxicity of PBDEs. In the present study, the interaction of hydroxylated metabolites of polybrominated diphenyl ethers and thyroxine transporter proteins had been characterized by fluorescent method. Binding affinities of hydroxylated PBDEs with two thyroxine transporter proteins were measured. The structure-activity relationships of different hydroxylated PBDEs with thyroxine transporter proteins were also investigated.
