The Effects of Clusters on FirmsTechnology Innovation：Evidences from Yongtaiwen Area in China

摘要：

This paper uses technical efficiency to reflect technology innovation of enterprises.We utilize the method of stochastic frontier analysis to measure technical efficiency of some enterprises of Yongtaiwen area in Zhejiang Province of China,and make a simple estimation about the effects of clusters on firms’technicaI efficiency.The results show that clusters are indeed to some extent conducive to innovating capabilities of enterprises,and influences of firm size on innovation take U shape.
