Survey on International Operations of Enterprises in Taizhou City after the Economic Crisis
The global economy has been impacted greatly by the US sub prime lending crises of 2007,which influenced the development of international business and also issued challenges to global enterprises for more effective international operations. In the face of complex changes in this international situation and domestic economy environment with the declining trend of export,China-based international enterprises need to seek appropriate strategies to turn the crises into opportunities and get through the dimculties.This paper takes the Taizhou City in Zhejiang Province as an example，by analyzing the international operations of export enterprises in Taizhou to promote the countermeasures.By using survey as the research methodology in this paper,the authors organized 30 undergraduates to conduct a questionnaire to 152 export enterprises in Taizhou City， and also interviewed 20 managers from difierent enterprises, analyzed several aspects Iike basic conditions of international operations management in Taizhou，impact of changes in the externaI environment upon the international operations,internal elements of enterprises，business trends and future development plans. As the conclusion，this paper argues that,the jnternationalization process of enterprises in Taizhou City is stilIin the jnitial stage,the transformation and upgrading should be taken to develop the enterprises under the Economic Crisis， furthermore,government and industry associations should enhance the role of the assistance and help.
