The Development of Suzhous Private Enterprises in an Open Economy

摘要：

In an open economy,the large foreign Investment in Suzhou brought the rapid development of Suzhou’s economy. However,the development of Suzhou’s private enterprises has been relatively slow.Thus.it is an important issue to develop Suzhou’s private enterprises.This paper will first introduce the situation of the development of the private enterprises in Suzhou，mainly describing their size，operation area,economic contribution and employment of private enterprises in Suzhou. Then the paper deals with the problems in the development of the private enterprises in Suzhou，mainly analysing the financing difficulties，the low quality of private entrepreneurs, the insufficient policy supports,the small scale,the slow development and the difficulties of retaininl capable staff. Finally,the paper will make some suggestions on how to develop private enterprises for both Suzhou’s Government and private enterprises.
