An Empirical Study on Cognition and Practice of Corporate Social Responsibility of Chinese Private Enterprises

摘要：

The corporate social responsibility (CSR) movement is rapidly being carried out in the world.However,it’s still at an early stage in China.We found that the cognition level of CSR was higher than the practice through a survey of 220 private enterprises in Ningbo.The overwhelming majority of enterprises realized that it was important to enhance the competence and set up a positive social image by fulfilling CSR. Over 90％of private enterprises were willing to Pay more attention to CSR in the future.However,it was still weak in many CSR areas for Chinese Private enterprises，such as the autonomy of CSR，the voluntary disclosure of CSR information， the investment and management practice of CSR,and so on. The corporate social responsibility movement for Chinese private enterprises still has a long way to go.
