The Role of Zhe jiang Provinces Industrial Associations in Responding to Trade Friction：a Case Study

摘要：

The industrial associations of private small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in eastern China’s Zhejiang Province play a very important role iU trade friction response.In the case of the EU anti-dumping investigation of China’s lighters， Wenzhou Lighter Industry Association (WZLIA) organized its member enterprises to apply for“market economy statusand to raise a harmless plea.Under the guidance of the WZLIA, Wenzhou lighter enterprises obtained good results at last.The practical experience of the WZLIA in responding to trade friction has special reference to other industrial associations in China while they undergo ongoing trade disputes or encounter trade friction ia the future.
