Comparison and Research on Security Standards of Power Supply in UK and China

摘要：

Security standard is the basic technical document in power network planning, so it is worth making research and comparison on security standards in different countries. This paper firstly discusses the basic concept and evaluation indices about security of power supply, and analyzes the distinctions and relations between security and reliability of power supply. Then, following the introduction of security standard in China, function, content and principles of security standards in UK are interpreted, and a practical example in a network with 3 substations is given as well. Finally, base on the comparing study, this paper points out the imperfection of present security standard in China mainly from the descriptions of target indices and the problem of unbalanced investment, and puts forward suggestions for improvement.
