History Study for Strategic Power Systems Planning: What does the Repeat Model tell us?
The current circumstances around power systems engineering are quite dynamic to be even confusions as well as convulsions. In order to face with the circumstances, strategic power systems planning are essentially needed for the welfare and the sustainability of global society in the future. As the power systems planning is essential know-how to be applied to the future, it is critically important to design the plan reasonably and on the base of facts under the current dynamic circumstances. Particularly in the democratic society, the dialogue between specialists, like power systems engineers, and the public will be the necessary basis for the practical design of power systems needed for the new society. The Repeat Model is created to meet with the social needs, taking two points of view in account, the one being history model for the analysis of historical facts, the other being power systems planning for the new society constructed to establish welfare and sustainability of human being.
