Analysis on Fault Current Division Factor into Grounding Electrode in 22.9kV-Y Multi-Ground Overhead Distribution System
The 22.9kV-Y distribution power system has multiple neutral line and the ground fault is occurred, the large fault current flows into the ground and the neutral line. The fault current is returned to the power source via overhead earth wire and the ground electrode. The power companies have difficulty to construct the new distribution system because the high fault current division factor as 50% is prescribed in the induced power regulation. Therefore, this paper technically studies the fault current division factor of the ground fault current in Korea distribution system. Based on the distribution design standards, this paper simulates the ground fault current division factor and analyzes the results.
