Voltage Stability Analysis in Load Center
Power demand increases rapidly in the past decades in Shandong power grid. The generation, transmission and distribution system are under great pressure. With the interconnection of Shandong power grid and North China power grid, more complicated dynamic behavior appears. The voltage stability of Jinan City in China that is the load center of Shandong power grid is analyzed in the paper. Automatic adjustment of under load tap changer (ULTC) and rapid increase of air-conditioner are taken into account. Main reasons of voltage instability are summed up and some conditions which may cause voltage collapses are simulated.
