A method of Automatic Drawing of Singleline Substation Diagrams Based on GraphData Integration Technology
Single-line substation diagrams are widely used in online and offline power system analysis softwares. Because of large numbers of substation components and complex connection types, drawing single-line substation diagram manually by software is timeconsuming and easy to make mistakes. Based on GraphData integration technology, a method of automatic drawing of single-line substation diagrams is presented in this paper, which can reduce the difficulty of system maintenance and solve the key questions of auto-drawing. By analysis of a great deal of single-line substation diagrams, typical templates are summarized which include single-bus connection, double-bus connection, double-bus connection with bypass branch, 3/2 connection and so on. According to the certain template, more in-lines or outlines of the certain voltage level of the substation are generated and other elements on the single-line substation are confirmed. Because each branch unit in template is drawn orderly, the layout of all extended branches in diagrams is more reasonable and orderly. Based on Graph-Data integration platform of PSASP, elements on graph generated by template are associated with data in database. The method has been widely used in Power System Analysis Software Package (PSASP) and other related software products.
