A characteristic analysis of load current for Korean tilting train

This paper presents the results of load current measurement and the analysis of load current characteristics on running for Korean tilting train. Load current is measured by rogowski coil installed input line of main transformer next to the MCB. Harmonic measurements on current are to the 50th harmonic to include amplitude and phase angle for each harmonic and individual harmonic RMS (root mean square) currents. RMS, harmonic measurements, psophometric current and instantaneous waveform are measured continuously on each cycle. The inrush current of main transformer installed tiling train is analyzed during the operation of MCB (main circuit break) passing through the neutral section. The instantaneous waveforms of load current were analyzed in case of powering and regenerative braking.
