Investigation of Wireless Measure and Control Methodology for High Voltage Circuit Breaker

This paper introduces a wireless measure and control methodology for high voltage circuit breaker. The monitor and control system is consisted of a computer and several single chip circuit modules. Transferring data and instructions via wireless interface, these modules can control the opening and closing operation of a high voltage circuit breaker and measure the characteristic parameters. By means of using single chips and wireless interface modules, a wireless measure and control system is designed and implemented, and the system primary functions include the opening and closing operation control, current measurement of operating coils, stroke curve and speed measurement of moving contacts, three-phase synchronization measurement and the opening and closing operating-time measurement. This paper illustrates the clock synchronization technology of multiple wireless modules, studies on the working performance of clock synchronization by experiment and data analysis, and confirms the feasibility of the wireless measure and control methodology for high voltage circuit breaker.
