Japanese Main Bank System from the Perspective of Corporate Finance
The Japanese main bank system, a concise overview of the financial markets characteristics in the high-speed soaring period, has played an important role in promoting economy development. For those countries who are on their way to market economy, especially China, with a high-speed economic growth, currently, one of the most important issues is to work on what kind of financial system should be established, how the bank-enterprise relationships can be handled to promote the development of enterprises more effectively, rapidly and healthily, and finally lead Chinese economy to healthy and stable development. Out of the above consideration, this article, from the perspective of corporate finance, makes a general review of Japanese main bank system. I put the emphasis on social background and conditions where the institution plays a role. When changes happen to the social background and conditions, what the reason is: its development path.
