A Discussion of the Concept of Institutional Finance

摘要：

The fundamental weakness of modern finance theory has been well addressed in recent years. Because its weakness is its philosophical heritage from Neoclassical Economics, the research approaches of Institutional Economics which aim to solve the weakness of Neoclassical Economics are worth exploring by finance academics. Institutional Finance is a concept of borrowing some useful ideas from Institutional Economics to enhance the explaining power of the finance theory.
