An Empirical Analysis on Relationship between Economic Growth and Employment in He’nan Province
Using the data from 1978 to 2007,this paper conducts an empirical analysis on the relation between the em ployment and economic growth in Henan Province by co integration theory and Granger causality test. It is shown by the results that there are relations of two-way causali ty and long-term stable equilibrium between the two. An error correction model(ECM) is also established on the basis of co-integration analysis to illustrate the adjusting force of the coefficient of error correction upon the trend that deviates from long-term equilibrium.
