Competitive Significance of Product Levels in Product Life Cycle

Product levels and product life cycle plays an important role in market competition. This paper reveals that five levels of product concept in four periods of product life cycle play a leading role successively. In introduction period,the core level plays a market-developing role; In growth period,the form level plays a decisive role in market competition; In maturity period,the expectation level and additional level play a decisive role successively. In decline period,the potential level plays an important role.
