Applications of Finite Element Method in Large-diameter Longitudinal Welded Pipe
Large-diameter longitudinal welded pipe is the main form of energy transport, and used widely in the area of oil and gas transportation. In this paper, largediameter longitudinal welded pipe forming methods are introduced, and a review on recent research results of finite element simulation technology in the production of large-diameter longitudinal welded pipe are made, in particular JCO/JCOE pipe forming simulation is elaborated. Development and application of finite element simulation technology on large-diameter longitudinal welded pipe forming are discussed, which is of great significance for the development of our pipeline steel pipe manufacturing.
