An Optimization Method of Dynamic Lane Assignment at Signalized Intersection
The relations of mutual limitation and transition between dynamic lane assignment and running time allocation at an approach of signal control intersection were studied and an optimization model based on time-space resource combination was proposed in this paper. The numerical test results show that the method can give an optimum benefit scheme based on dynamic lane functional partition within a given traffic demand range and it effectively improves the utilization of time-space resource at signalized intersections.
