Modeling Supply Chain Management in Forestry Enterprises in Northeast China

摘要：

The forest industry is of great importance to the economy of northeast China. The use of supply chain and logistics management in forestry enterprises is getting increasingly important. This study modeled the typical supply chain in the forestry sector in China mathematically. The model was evaluated using a solid case in northeast China. Results indicated that a well planned and implemented logistics system could significantly improve the wood supply chain efficiency and fiber cost.
