INTEGRATED AND DISTRIBUTED MODELING OF WATER QUANTITY AND WATER QUALITY IN HAIHE RIVER BASIN
In water shortage area of North China, discontinuous flow of some rivers and continuous drainage of waste water from industry and lives into rivers, lakes, wetlands and coastal areas result in seriously surface water pollution and water quality deterioration of soil water and groundwater. The potential pollutants underground are difficult to be degraded and has great danger, and it will bring great threats to basin water resources, water environment and water ecology once flood takes place. It is difficult to decide the transference of pollutants accompanied with water cycle from macroscopic scale through field investigation, and numerical models are needed to study the transport rule of pollutants in river basins.
