SAFETY-EVALUATION ANALYSIS OF A BUIDING RESERVOIR-DAM AFTER EARTHQUAKE
An earthquake of Ms 8 struck Wenchuan County, western Sichuan, China, on May 12th, 2008 This devastating earthquake had so many reservoir and dam fluenced.According to their primary monitoring and assessment Chinese Geological Survey regarded that Wenchuan Earthquake was caused by rapid uplift of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau for subduction of Indian Plate toward Asian Plate. The quake originated at the depth of ten to twenty kilometers underground and lasted for a pretty long duration, so it resulted in such huge destruction.
