RESEARCH OF GROUT-PLUGGING ON SECOND-PHASE COFFERDAM OF QIAOGONG HYDROPOWER STATION
Qiaogong Hydropower Station,on the main stream at Hongshui River,is the ninth cascade hydropower station of the 10 stations planning to develop on the Hongshui River.And the total power installed capacity is 456MW.The second-phase cofferdam of Qiaogong Hydropower Station is earth and rock cofferdam,and the clay blanket combined with anti-geomembrane seepage control methods were used in the cofferdam.In part area the high static pressure grouting and jet grouting were also carried out.However,the amount of leakage still exceeded 3600m3/h after the construction of seepage-control treatment inside the foundation,which can’t meet the normal excavation and construction of water storage in the late cofferdam of the security and stability requirements for further processing.According to the characteristics of the formation of the cofferdam and the real leakage,the grouting method of cement paste and the paste combining with aggregates to plug the large amount of leakage were studied in this paper.Test and application results showed that the new type of cement paste had undispersed in water,anti-lash water release, controlled and adjustable setting time,easy construction,etc.,which was suitable for larger pore formation of the hydrodynamic plugging.And the paste combining with aggregates to plug the large amount of leakage had good effect to flow control,which could provide a reference for similar projects.
