RECENT RESEARCH ACTIVITIES OF JSCE ON FLOOD DISASTERS

Japan In this paper，the recent activities of JSCE on flood disasters，mainly conducted by the Committee on Hydroscience and Hydraulic Engineering are introduced.Firstly， international and domestic field investigations on flood disasters done by the members of the committee dispatched by JSCE are shown.Secondly， current research topics reviewed by referring the Annual Journal of Hydroscience and Hydraulic Engineering，JSCE are introduced，and finally， contribution to IFI(The International Flood Initiatives)from our research group is shown briefly.
