FLOOD RISK IN TUSCANY

摘要：

Aim of the work is to present an overview of the flood risk management and its mitigation in Tuscany(Italy).In the last decades many studies have been conducted in this region in order to cope with flood risk.Different levels of flood maps have been introduced and many complex mitigation measures have been planned.The highly urbanization process creates many difficulties in order to cope with the 200 years return period flood that is the design flood for our country.The work analyses case studies of complex river basins in which the hazard and risk maps are derived.
