20 Years: Technology Parks, Western Australia-O bservations, Annoyance and Solution

Twenty years ago, what is now Technology Park Bentley was virtually vacant land, the remnants of a pine plantation located on the outskirts of Perth. Since then it has grown and developed into Australia’s leading technology park. And the next few years will see an ambitious expansion, with the Park growing into a Technology Precinct covering 300 hectares, partnering with a diverse range of neighbouring organisations adding value to the innovative cluster, such as park management, industry; R&D; education institutions, government and the community, providing employment and careers for some 12,000 people.
