The Role and Practice of Tsinghua Science Park in Financing Activities of SMEs
Having completed civil engineering projects of over 300,000 m2, Tsinghua Science Park (THSP) is home to more than 400 high-tech companies, among which, over a half are new technological companies with a history of less than 2 years. How to help these companies to finance and get the funding support necessary for their survival and development has become a challenge to the park, as well as a critical issue to be addressed. This paper intends to introduce the roles of THSP in assisting technological companies of different development stages in the park in their financing initiatives and cases in this regard.
