APGM—a novel approach to R&D and Commercialization of technology

TechVilla, in collaboration with its partners, has developed an Automated People and Goods Mover (APGM) concept. With the APGM project TechVilla has not only created a completely new type of product —TechVilla’s lab-to-market approach is unique, as well. This is the first time in Finland that a science park, the private equity investment arm of a large enterprise, and private individuals have joined together by founding a start-up company, EcoTaxi Ltd, to commercialize the APGM concept. Altogether, over 30 partners have participated in the project, each in their specific role. Presently, TechVilla is collaborating with 27 European partners to prepare an EU-funded APGM demonstration project.
