Pricing Strategy of E-Commerce Platform with Two-Sided Markets
E-Commerce platform has a typical characteristic of two-sided markets. The buyers and sellers interact and operate an exchange through joining the same E-Commerce platform. The willingness for buyers to join the platform depends largely on the number of sellers who have already on the platform. The same is to sellers. In order to get the two sides “on board, the platform should design a reasonable price structure. We build a simple model to analyze the problem.
